DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU intermittently monitors the LIN communication bus between the components related to the door and sliding roof. DTC B2325 is output when a malfunction in the LIN communication bus between the components related to the door and sliding roof is detected consecutively 3 times.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note:

When using the intelligent tester with the power switch off to troubleshoot:

Connect the intelligent tester to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy switch on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the tester and vehicle begins.

Tip:

When DTC B2325 and a LIN communication stop DTC are output simultaneously, first perform the troubleshooting for the LIN communication stop DTC. Then perform the troubleshooting for DTC B2325.

    CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTC (see pageClick here).


  2. Click here

    CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Recheck for DTC (see pageClick here).

  3. Click here

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the L11 ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the N13 master switch connector.

    3. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L11-10 (LIN2) - N13-17 (LIN1) Always Below 1 Ω
      L11-10 (LIN2) or N13-17 (LIN1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Standard voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      L11-10 (LIN2) or N13-17 (LIN1) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) Below 1 V

  4. Click here

    CLEAR DTC


    1. Reconnect the L11 ECU connector.

    2. Clear the DTC (see pageClick here).


  5. Click here

    CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Disconnect the N13 master switch connector.

    2. Recheck for DTC (see pageClick here).

    1. Reconnect the N13 master switch connector.

    1. Disconnect the N11*1 or N3*2 motor connector.

      Tip:

      *1: for LHD

      *2: for RHD

    2. Recheck for DTC (see pageClick here).
