DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when LIN communication between the front power window regulator motor RH*1 (LH*2) and main body ECU stops for 10 seconds or more.

Tip:

*1: for LHD

*2: for RHD

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note:
  • When using the intelligent tester with the power switch off to troubleshoot:

    Connect the intelligent tester to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy switch on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the tester and vehicle begins.

  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

Tip:

DTC B2325 is output when the communication between all of the following components and main body ECU stops.

    CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTC (see pageClick here).


  2. Click here

    CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Recheck for DTC (see pageClick here).

  3. Click here

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR)

    Tip:

    *1: for LHD

    *2: for RHD


    1. Disconnect the L11 ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the N3*1 or N11*2 motor connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Table 2. for LHD:
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L11-10 (LIN2) - N3-9 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω
      Table 3. for RHD:
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L11-10 (LIN2) - N11-9 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

    Tip:

    *1: for LHD

    *2: for RHD

      Disconnect the N3*1 or N11*2 motor connector.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Table 4. for LHD:
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      N3-1 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      Table 5. for RHD:
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      N11-1 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      Standard voltage
      Table 6. for LHD:
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      N3-2 (B) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Table 7. for RHD:
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      N11-2 (B) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

    CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR RH*1, LH*2 (OPERATION)

    Tip:

    *1: for LHD

    *2: for RHD


    1. Temporarily replace the front power window regulator motor RH*1 or LH*2 with a new or normally functioning one (see pageClick here).

    2. Clear the DTC (see pageClick here).
