FRONT CONSOLE BOX (w/ Disc Player) DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX REGISTER ASSEMBLY

    1. Detach the 10 claws and remove the console box register assembly from the console box ornament.

  2. REMOVE LOWER CONSOLE BOX POCKET

    1. Detach the 6 claws and remove the lower console box pocket.

  3. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE ARMREST ASSEMBLY

    1. Detach the wire harness clamp.

    2. Remove the 6 screws and rear console armrest assembly together with the bracket.

  4. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 4 seals and 4 screws.

    2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 8 claws and remove the console compartment door lock.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      Remove the 4 screws and console compartment door hinge sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX WIRE

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the 2 wire harness clamps and remove the console box wire.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the 2 claws to remove the console box illumination light assembly.

  7. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX LENS

    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front No. 1 console box lens.

  8. REMOVE DISC PLAYER ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Disconnect each connector and remove the disc player assembly.

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX DUCT

    1. Remove the 2 clips and No. 2 console box duct.

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX MOUNTING BRACKET

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 console box mounting bracket.
