LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH


    1. Attach the 11 clips to install the No. 2 luggage compartment door outside garnish.

    2. Install the 2 nuts.

  2. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both license plate lights.


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 2 claws to install the license plate light assembly.

  3. INSTALL LUGGAGE ELECTRICAL KEY SWITCH


    1. Install the television camera assembly to the luggage electrical key switch with the 2 screws.

    2. Connect the connector.

    3. Connect the sub-wire harness connector.

  4. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the 6 clips to install the luggage compartment door outside garnish.

    2. Install the 6 screws.

  5. INSTALL NO. 3 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the No. 3 luggage compartment door outside garnish.

  6. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. w/o Rear Fog Light:


      1. Install the rear light assembly LH with the 2 nuts and 2 cap nuts.

        Torque:
        4.5 N*m  { 46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf }

      2. Connect the connector.

      1. Install the rear light assembly LH with the 2 nuts and 2 cap nuts.

        Torque:
        4.5 N*m  { 46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf }

      2. Connect the connector.

  8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR CLOSER SWITCH


    1. Install the luggage compartment door closer switch with the 2 screws.

    2. Connect the connector.

  9. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR CLOSER ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the cable.

    2. Install the luggage door closer assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the connector.

  10. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LOCK CYLINDER


    1. Connect the cable.

    2. Install the luggage compartment lock cylinder with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    3. Install the clamp and connect the connector.

  11. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM COVER


    1. Attache the 10 clips to install the back door trim cover.

    2. Install the 4 clips.

  12. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER LH


    1. Install the luggage compartment door hinge cover LH with the 3 clips.

  13. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER RH

  14. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SERVICE COVER LH


    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the rear combination light service cover LH.

  15. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SERVICE COVER RH

  16. INSTALL NO. 2 COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 2 courtesy light assembly.

  17. INSTALL SWITCH BEZEL


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the switch bezel.

  18. INSTALL DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL

      Attach the 4 claws to install the door inside handle bezel.

  19. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP


    1. Install the luggage compartment door assist grip with the 2 screws.

      Attach the 3 claws.

  20. CONNECT CABLE TO AUXILIARY BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
