LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Spare Tire)

  3. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Spare Tire)

  4. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire)

      Detach the 2 clips and remove the deck trim side board LH.

  5. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

  6. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM AUXILIARY BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  7. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      Remove the 2 screws and luggage compartment door assist grip.

  8. REMOVE SWITCH BEZEL

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the switch bezel.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 courtesy light assembly.

  10. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SERVICE COVER LH

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the rear combination light service cover LH.

  11. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SERVICE COVER RH

  12. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER LH

      Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips and luggage compartment door hinge cover LH.

  13. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  14. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM COVER

      Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips.

    2. Detach the 10 clips and back door trim cover.

  15. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LOCK CYLINDER

      Disconnect the connector and remove the connector clamp.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and luggage compartment lock cylinder.

    3. Disconnect the cable.

  16. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR CLOSER ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and luggage door closer assembly.

    3. Disconnect the cable.

  17. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR CLOSER SWITCH


    1. A01GXNO

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and luggage compartment door closer switch.

  18. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. w/o Rear Fog Light:


      1. Put protective tape around the rear light assembly LH.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

      3. Remove the 2 nuts and 2 cap nuts and remove the rear light assembly LH.

    2. w/ Rear Fog Light:


      1. Put protective tape around the rear light assembly LH.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

      3. Remove the 2 nuts and 2 cap nuts and remove the rear light assembly LH.

  19. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  20. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH

    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the No. 3 luggage compartment door outside garnish.

  21. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 nuts.

    2. A01GXR9

      Detach the 11 clips and remove the No. 2 luggage compartment door outside garnish.

  22. REMOVE LUGGAGE ELECTRICAL KEY SWITCH


    1. A01GZQE

      Disconnect the sub-wire harness connector.

    2. A01H0OG

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. A01H1KM

      Remove the 2 screws and television camera assembly from the luggage electrical key switch.

  23. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the license plate light assembly.

  24. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH

    1. Remove the 2 nuts.

    2. A01GXR9

      Detach the 11 clips and remove the No. 2 luggage compartment door outside garnish.
