REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER (for Fixed Seat Type) INSTALLATION

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. Set the bench type rear seat cushion cover in place.

    2. Attach the fastening tape.

      Note

      Make sure that the fastening tape is securely attached to the cushion pad fastener at the rear seat cushion cover center seat belt placement area.

    3. Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the bench type rear seat cushion pad with 70 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

  2. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

    Note

    Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.


    1. Set the bench type rear seat cushion assembly in place.

      *A w/ Seat Heater System

      w/ Seat Heater System:

      Connect the 2 connectors.

    3. Attach the 2 rear hooks of the bench type rear seat cushion assembly to the bench type rear seatback assembly.

    4. Attach the 3 front hooks to install the bench type rear seat cushion assembly.

    5. Confirm that the bench type rear seat cushion assembly is firmly installed.

      Note

      When installing the bench type rear seat cushion assembly, make sure the seat belt buckle is not under the bench type rear seat cushion assembly.
