INSPECT SEAT MEMORY SWITCH (for Driver Side)

1.

   *a	Component without harness connected (Seat Memory Switch)

   Check the resistance.

   
   

   1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 4 (1) - 7 (E) M1 switch pressed Below 1 Ω 2 (2) - 7 (E) M2 switch pressed Below 1 Ω 1 (3) - 7 (E) M3 switch pressed Below 1 Ω 5 (MMRY) - 7 (E) SET switch pressed Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the seat memory switch.

2. Inspect the illumination operation.

   
   

   1. Apply battery voltage to the seat memory switch connector, and check that the seat memory switch LED illuminates.

      OK
      Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → Terminal 6 (ILL+) Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (ILL-) LED illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the seat memory switch.

INSPECT SEAT MEMORY SWITCH (for Front Passenger Side)

   Check the resistance.

   
   

   1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 4 (1) - 7 (E) M1 switch pressed Below 1 Ω 2 (2) - 7 (E) M2 switch pressed Below 1 Ω 1 (3) - 7 (E) M3 switch pressed Below 1 Ω 5 (MMRY) - 7 (E) SET switch pressed Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the seat memory switch.

2. Inspect the illumination operation.

   
   

   1. Apply battery voltage to the seat memory switch connector, and check that the seat memory switch LED illuminates.

      OK
      Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → Terminal 6 (ILL+) Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (ILL-) LED illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the seat memory switch.
