SEAT VIBRATION SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK

Tech Tips


  • Turn off all functions by turning the power switch off.

  • Turn the power switch from off to on (IG) to initialize all LEDs, all operations and the timer function.


  1. Inspect MANUAL function (w/o Ottoman)


    1. Inspect the vibration operation.


      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

        When the vibrator switch is turned ON, check that the seat vibrator operates.

        Tech Tips

        The seat vibrator operation and air operation are separate and independent of each other.

    2. Inspect the forward and backward position adjustment function.


      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

      2. A01GX22E01

        When the lumbar support switch is turned ON, check that the seat vibrator moves forward and backward.

  2. Inspect MANUAL function (for 4-Passenger with Ottoman)


    1. A01H0GS

      Inspect the air operation.


      1. Turn the power switch on (IG) (stop mode).

      2. Turn the seat vibrator switch ON (standby mode).

      3. A01GYP9

        In MANUAL mode, turn the SHOULDER or BACK switch ON. Check that the air operation operates.

      4. Check that the INTENSITY switch has 3 levels (low to high) and the SPEED switch has 3 levels (slow to fast).

    2. Inspect the vibration operation.


      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

      2. A01GZ2VE01

        When the vibrator switch is turned ON, check that the seat vibrator operates.

        Tech Tips

        The seat vibrator operation and air operation are separate and independent of each other.

      3. Check that the vibration speed can be switched between 3 levels with the vibrator switch.

    3. Inspect the forward and backward position adjustment function.


      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

        When the lumbar support switch is turned ON, check that the seat vibrator moves forward and backward.

  3. Inspect MANUAL function (for 5-Passenger with Ottoman)


    1. A01GZJG

      Inspect air operation.


      1. Turn the power switch on (IG) (stop mode).

      2. Turn the seat vibrator switch ON (standby mode).

      3. A01GWQT

        In MANUAL mode, turn the SHOULDER or BACK switch ON. Check that the air operation operates.

      4. Check that the INTENSITY switch has 3 levels (low to high) and the SPEED switch has 3 levels (slow to fast).

    2. Inspect the vibration operation.


      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

        When the vibrator switch is turned ON, check that the seat vibrator operates.

      3. Check that the vibration speed can be switched between 3 levels with the vibrator switch.

    3. Inspect the forward and backward position adjustment function.

        When the lumbar support switch is turned ON, check that the seat vibrator moves forward and backward.

  4. Inspect PROGRAM function (for 4-Passenger with Ottoman)

    1. Turn the power switch on (IG) (stop mode).

    2. Turn the seat vibrator switch ON (standby mode).

    3. A01H1R5

      When the SHIATSU switch is pressed, check that the shoulder and lower back areas operate in combination with each other.

    4. When the STRETCH switch is pressed, check that the shoulder and lower back areas operate in combination with each other.

    5. Check that the INTENSITY switch has 3 levels (low to high) and the SPEED switch has 3 levels (slow to fast).

  5. Inspect PROGRAM function (for 5-Passenger with Ottoman)

    A01GZJG

    1. Turn the power switch on (IG) (stop mode).

    2. Turn the seat vibrator switch ON (standby mode).

    3. A01GY8X

      When the SHIATSU switch is pressed, check that the shoulder and lower back areas operate in combination with each other.

    4. When the STRETCH switch is pressed, check that the shoulder and lower back areas operate in combination with each other.

    5. Check that the INTENSITY switch has 3 levels (low to high) and the SPEED switch has 3 levels (slow to fast).

  6. Inspect LED illumination (w/ Ottoman)


    1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    2. Turn the seat vibrator switch ON.

    3. Check that when each seat vibrator switch is pressed, its respective LED illuminates.

    4. Check that when the headlight dimmer switch is turned on, each LED dims.

  7. Inspect timer function (w/ Ottoman)


    1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    2. Turn the seat vibrator switch ON.

    3. Choose a function on the seat vibrator switch and start its operation.

      Tech Tips

      The 15 minute timer counts down from the time that the function is first operated.

    4. After 15 minutes have passed, check that the following operations occur.


      • The seat vibrator switch turns OFF.

      • All LEDs turn off.

      • The air operation stops after releasing the air.
