OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR DISASSEMBLY

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR LH


    1. A01GXS8E01

      Apply protective tape to the areas shown in the illustration.

    2. Push the upper part of the mirror surface and tilt it.

      *1 Protective Tape
      *2 Moulding Remover D

    3. Using a moulding remover D, detach the 2 claws at the upper part of the outer rear view mirror as shown in the illustration.

      Push the lower part of the mirror surface and tilt it.

    5. Apply protective tape to the areas shown in the illustration.

    6. Using a moulding remover D, detach the 2 claws at the upper part of the outer rear view mirror as shown in the illustration.

      w/ Blind Spot Monitor:


      1. Detach the 2 clamps.

      2. Disconnect the 4 connectors and remove the outer mirror LH.

      w/o Blind Spot Monitor:


      1. Detach the clamps.

      2. Disconnect the 3 connectors and remove the outer mirror LH.

  2. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01H1BX

      Remove the 5 screws.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and 4 guides and remove the visor assembly.

    3. A01GX19

      Detach the 2 guides.

    4. A01GZGR

      Remove the outer mirror actuator assembly LH from No. 2 outer mirror cover LH.

  3. REMOVE SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Disconnect the connector and remove the side turn signal light assembly LH.
