DESCRIPTION

When the self-diagnosis of the multi-media module receiver assembly determines that the left/right maximum steering angle initialization (steering angle adjustment) is incomplete, this DTC is output.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note


  • When "System initializing" is displayed on the multi-media module receiver assembly after the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, correct the steering angle neutral point Click here.

  • Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the parking assist monitor system may be needed Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. ADJUST STEERING ANGLE SETTING


    1. Perform the following procedure depending on the memory conditions to register the vehicle information into the multi-media module receiver assembly.


      1. Perform the steering angle adjustment Click here.

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Check for DTCs Click here.

      Tech Tips


      • If DTC C1694 is output, perform the steering angle setting again.

      • If DTC C1694 is still output after performing the steering angle setting 3 times, replace the multi-media module receiver assembly.
