  1. CUSTOMIZE LEXUS PARKING ASSIST-SENSOR SYSTEM


    1. Customizing with the intelligent tester


      1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

      2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

      3. Turn the LEXUS parking assist-sensor system on.

      4. Turn the intelligent tester on.

      5. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Utility / Customize / Warning, Sensor or Display

      6. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Temporary Mute Reset Speed Adjust 20 km/h Sets the vehicle speed at which the temporary mute function resets.
        • System Link, 15 km/h, 20 km/h or 30 km/h


          • System Link: Adjustment will be canceled when vehicle speed 15 km/h (9 mph) or more (when accelerating) or 10 km/h (6 mph) or more (when decelerating)

          • 15 km/h: Adjustment will be canceled when vehicle speed reaches 15 km/h

          • 20 km/h: Adjustment will be canceled when vehicle speed reaches 20 km/h

          • 30 km/h: Adjustment will be canceled when vehicle speed reaches 30 km/h

    2. Customizing with Accessory Meter

      Note


      • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

      • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

      • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.


      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

      2. Turn the LEXUS parking assist-sensor system on.

      3. Enter the following menus: Setup / Vehicle / LEXUS Park Assist.

      4. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Alert volume 3 Sets the buzzer activation range for the rear center sensors.
        • 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5


          • 1: Low volume

          • 2: Medium low volume

          • 3: Medium volume

          • 4: Medium high volume

          • 5: High volume
