PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)


    1. Disconnect the L190 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the L153 telematics transceiver connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L190-7 (VOR+) - L153-3 (VOT+) Always Below 1 Ω
      L190-6 (VOR-) - L153-5 (VOT-) Always Below 1 Ω
      L190-7 (VOR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L190-6 (VOR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  2. CHECK TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L153-3 (VOT+) - Body ground Receiving a call while using the operator service A waveform synchronized with the received voice is output.
      L153-5 (VOT-) - Body ground Receiving a call while using the operator service A waveform synchronized with the received voice is output.
