DESCRIPTION

If an unauthorized contract flag is stored by the G-BOOK device, this DTC will be stored.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK CONTRACT FLAG

   
   

   1. 

      Enter diagnostic mode Click here.

   2. Select "Service Information" on the "Service Menu" screen.

   3. 

      Select "G-BOOK Info for Contract" on the "Service Information" screen.

   4. 

      Check if the flag information shown in the illustration indicates "1".

2. PERFORM OPERATION

   
   

   1. Perform "Download necessary data" again.

      

      
      

      1. Perform the operations shown in the illustration and select "Download necessary data".

   1. Move the vehicle to a communication service area. Wait for a while and perform a manual maintenance check Click here.

      Tech Tips

      If the manual maintenance check completes normally, clear history DTCs (this problem was caused by DTCs stored due to past environmental factors).

   1. Contact the G-BOOK support center and inform them about the following.

      
      

      • Flag information is either "1" or "0".

      • The manual maintenance check did not complete normally.

      The G-BOOK support center will perform an investigation and provide the results.
