DESCRIPTION
Power is supplied to the multi-media module receiver assembly, accessory meter assembly and steering pad switch assembly illumination when the light control switch is in the tail or head position.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
Note
The vehicle is equipped with a Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) which includes components such as airbags. Before servicing (including removal or installation of parts), be sure to read the precaution for Supplemental Restraint System Click here.
Inspect the fuse for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
The illumination circuit uses the CAN communication system. First, confirm that there is no malfunction in the CAN communication system. Refer to the How to Proceed with Troubleshooting procedure Click here.
PROCEDURE
CHECK ILLUMINATION
Check if the illumination for the multi-media module receiver assembly, accessory meter assembly, steering pad switch assembly or others (hazard switch etc.) comes on when the light control switch is turned to the head or tail position.

Disconnect the L126 spiral cable sub-assembly connector.
Disconnect the L124 No. 1 meter ECU sub-assembly connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
