INSPECT REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear No. 1 Speaker Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Always Approx. 6 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear No. 1 speaker assembly.

2. for 19 Speakers:

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Always 5 to 7 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear No. 1 speaker assembly.

INSPECT REAR NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

   *a	Component without harness connected (Rear No. 2 Speaker Assembly)

   Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance
   Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Always 4.8 to 7.2 Ω

   If the result is not as specified, replace the speaker assembly.

INSPECT REAR NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

1. Check that the malfunction disappears when the speaker is replaced with a normal one.

   OK
   Malfunction disappears.

   Tech Tips

   
   

   • Connect all the connectors to the rear No. 3 speakers.

   • When there is a possibility that either the right or left rear speaker is defective, inspect by interchanging the right one with the left one.

   • Perform the inspection above on both LH and RH sides.
