Note

After the power switch is turned off, the multi-media module receiver assembly records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

  1. PRECAUTIONS WHEN USING GTS


    1. When using the GTS with the power switch off to troubleshoot: Connect the GTS to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the tester and vehicle begins.

    2. After all DTCs are cleared, check if the trouble occurs again 6 seconds after the power switch is turned on (IG).
