U0129 Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module

DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 meter ECU communicates with the skid control ECU via the CAN line.

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
U0129

When either of following conditions is detected:


  • 15 seconds have elapsed since engine started and IG voltage 10.5 V or more

  • No communication with skid control ECU continues for 3 seconds or more (No communication to ECM, skid control ECU or headlight swivel ECU assembly continues for 60 seconds or more)

      Tech Tips

      If the CAN communication system DTC U0129 and another DTC are output at the same time, perform troubleshooting for the CAN communication system DTC U0129 first.
