DESCRIPTION

The driving support ECU uses the front millimeter wave radar sensor, rear millimeter wave radar sensor, driver monitor camera and object recognition camera to detect obstacles in front of and behind the vehicle, and detect the direction that the driver's head is facing. Based on this information, the driving support ECU sends pre-crash control operation signals.

When the rear millimeter wave radar sensor is replaced with a new one, it acquires the country specification information from the driving support ECU. Also, when the driving support ECU is replaced with a new one, it receives country specification information from the combination meter. When country specification information in the sensor and ECU do not match, DTC C1A0B is output.

If the sensor and vehicle country specification information are the same, and the combination meter and the driving support ECU country specification information are different, C1A0A and C1A0C are output.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK REAR MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR


    1. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise. Then select "Data List".

    2. Read the Data List and check the country specification information of the rear millimeter wave radar sensor and vehicle.

      Tech Tips

      The country specification information of the driving support ECU is decided by the combination meter. Even if the vehicle and sensor country specification information match, if the country specification information for the vehicle and ECU/meter do not match, it is necessary to replace the ECU and meter.
