DESCRIPTION

When the active headrest ECU detects an internal malfunction in the headrest, DTC C1A9A, C1A9B and C1A9C are stored.

When the driving support ECU receives a signal indicating a malfunction from the active headrest ECU, DTC C1A65 is stored.

  3. 1 second (for short circuits, DTC is stored when malfunction is detected 5 times consecutively after power switch is turned ON (IG))

    1. Clear DTCs Click here.

    2. Reproduce problem symptoms based on the DTC detection conditions.

    3. Check for DTCs Click here.

      DTC C1A65 is not output.

      Note

      If DTC C1A9A, C1A9B and C1A9C is output, do not replace the driving support ECU. When replacing the driving support ECU, always replace it with a new one and be sure to perform initialization Click here. If an ECU which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the ECU will not match the information from the vehicle, and as a result, a DTC may be stored.
