C1A41 Brake Request Value Mismatch between ENG / EHV and Driving Support ECU

DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU receives brake control request signals from the hybrid vehicle control ECU and driving support ECU.

When the request signals received from the hybrid vehicle control ECU and driving support ECU are not consistent, the skid control ECU determines that a malfunction has occurred and sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU.

If the driving support ECU receives a malfunction signal, DTC C1A41 is output. Although the skid control ECU sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU, the ABS does not output a relevant malfunction detection DTC.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)


    1. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC. Then select "Diagnostic Code".

    2. Check for DTCs.

      OK
      Electronically controlled brake system DTC is not output.

    GO TO ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM Click here

  2. CHECK FOR DTC (HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control. Then select "DTC".

    2. Check for DTCs.

  3. REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU


    1. Replace the hybrid vehicle control ECU Click here.

  4. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Body / Pre-Crash2. Then select "DTC".

    2. Select "Clear" and clear the data.

    3. Recheck for DTC.

      OK
      DTC C1A41 is not output.

    REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU Click here

  5. REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU


    1. For LHD, replace the skid control ECU Click here.

    2. For RHD, replace the skid control ECU Click here.
