DESCRIPTION

The steering control ECU monitors the IG power supply voltage.

If the steering control ECU detects a malfunction, it will turn on the master warning light, store DTC C15C6/77, and stop VGRS operation.

C15C6/77 The steering control ECU detects that the auxiliary battery voltage is normal and the IG terminal voltage is less than 4 V for 6 seconds

The fault may be intermittent. Check the harnesses and connectors thoroughly and retest.

  1. CHECK STEERING CONTROL ECU (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)


    1. Record and clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. A01GZ9KE05

      Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A42-7 (PGND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      A43-8 (PGD2) - Body ground
      Standard voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      A42-3 (IG) - Body ground Power switch ON (READY) 11 to 14 V
