The ECU power source circuit supplies positive voltage to the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FUSE (D MPX-B 1)


    1. Remove the D MPX-B 1 fuse from the main body ECU.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D MPX-B 1 fuse Always Below 1 Ω

    NG

    REPLACE FUSE

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU - AUXILIARY BATTERY)


    1. A01GWNSE03

      Disconnect the L34 multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L34-9 (ECUB) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU - BODY GROUND)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L34-11 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
