DESCRIPTION

The electric parking brake ECU receives vehicle tilt information from the yaw rate sensor via CAN communication.

DTC Code Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1245/62

Both of following conditions are met:


  1. Power switch is ON (IG)

  2. Inconsistency of G sensor 1 and 2 output values occurs for 60 seconds when G sensor outputs malfunction signal or G sensor is stuck*

 Yaw rate sensor

Tech Tips

*: The G sensor is judged to be stuck when the G sensor is stuck and the vehicle is driven and stopped 16 times.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

If the electric parking brake ECU or parking brake with bracket actuator assembly is replaced, perform the "RESET MEMORY" and "ACQUIRE TENSION SENSOR ZERO POINT" procedures Click here.

  1. CHECK DTC (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)


    1. Check for DTC Click here.

      DTC C1243, C1244, C1245, C1381, C1336 or U0124 is output B
