ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR INSTALLATION


  1. APPLY HIGH TEMPERATURE GREASE


    1. Apply a thin layer of high temperature grease to the areas where the parking brake plate contacts the parking brake shoes Click here.

  2. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE WITH BRACKET ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01GX1G

      Install the actuator with the 3 nuts.

      Torque:
      27 N*m  { 275 kgf*cm, 20 ft.*lbf }
    2. A01H06B

      Install the 3 harness clamps to the member.

    3. A01H0MZ

      Install the bolt and 5 nuts.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    4. Attach the clamp to the member.

  3. CONNECT PARKING BRAKE CABLE

  4. INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. INSTALL PROPELLER WITH CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  6. INSTALL ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR CAP


    1. A01GX2R

      Install the actuator cap with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL FLOOR NO. 1 UNDER COVER


    1. A01GY5D

      Install the under cover with the 5 nuts and 5 clips.

    2. Attach the 2 hole plugs.

  8. CONNECT WIRE HARNESS CLAMP


    1. A01GZ8B

      Connect the 2 harness clamps.

  9. CONNECT ELECTRIC PARKING ACTUATOR CONNECTOR

      Attach the electric parking brake actuator harness grommet.

      Connect the trunk interior's parking brake actuator connector.

  10. INSTALL REAR WHEEL HOUSE LINER LH

    1. Install the liner with the 3 screws, 11 nuts, 2 clips to the vehicle side.

  11. INSTALL SEAT VIBRATOR MODULE ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman)

  12. INSTALL REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (w/ Active Stabilizer System)

  13. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCE

    Note

    If the parking brake shoe clearance is not adjusted, the cable end may be damaged.

  14. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

    Torque:
    140 N*m  { 1428 kgf*cm, 103 ft.*lbf }

  15. INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT

  16. INSPECT SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL

    Click here

  17. ADJUST VEHICLE HEIGHT

  18. PERFORM CALIBRATION


    1. Clear the electric parking brake ECU memory and acquire tension sensor zero point Click here.

  19. PERFORM PARKING BRAKE SHOE BEDDING

    Click here

  20. ADJUST HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  21. ADJUST OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA

    Click here

  22. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK


    1. If gas is leaking, tighten the areas necessary to stop the leak. Replace the damaged parts as necessary.
