TOE CONTROL LINK INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT TOE CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    A01GY66

    1. Temporarily install the nut, and flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times as shown in the illustration.

    2. Use a torque wrench to turn the nut continuously at a rate of 3 to 5 seconds per turn. Take the torque reading on the fifth turn.

      Standard turning torque
      6.0 N*m (61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf) or less

      • If the value is not within the specified range, replace the rear suspension toe control link with a new one

    3. Check the dust boot for cracks and grease leakage.
