FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT FRONT PNEUMATIC SHOCK ABSORBER WITH CYLINDER ASSEMBLY LH

      Extend the pneumatic cylinder with shock absorber and check that it is as described below.

      OK
      While extending the cylinder at a constant speed, the load is constant for each stroke and there is no abnormal feedback or noises. Also, the cylinder returns at a constant speed when extended.

      If an abnormality is found, replace the pneumatic cylinder with shock absorber with a new one.

      Note

      When extending the front pneumatic cylinder with shock absorber LH, do not block the air inlet/outlet opening.

      While adjusting the damping force control rod to hard, medium and soft, inspect the front pneumatic shock absorber with cylinder assembly LH by compressing and extending it.

      There is a difference in the damping force.
