REAR SHOCK ABSORBER INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT PNEUMATIC CYLINDER WITH REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Compress and extend the pneumatic cylinder with rear shock absorber and check that it is as described below.

      Standard
      While compressing and extending the cylinder at a constant speed, the load is constant for each stroke and there is no abnormal feedback or noises. Also, the cylinder returns at a constant speed when extended. If an abnormality is found, replace the pneumatic cylinder with rear shock absorber with a new one.

      Note

      When compressing extending the pneumatic cylinder with rear shock absorber LH, do not block the air inlet/outlet opening.

    2. While adjusting the damping force control rod to hard, medium and soft, inspect the pneumatic cylinder with rear shock absorber by compressing and extending it.

      Standard
      The damping forces are not the same.
