HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR (for Front LH) INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

  • The procedures listed below are the LH side.


  1. INSTALL FRONT HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01GYKW

      Install the height control sensor with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      14 N*m  { 138 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not drop the height control sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.

    2. A01GXTO

      Connect the height control sensor link to the front No. 2 suspension lower arm LH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }
    3. A01GWN4

      Connect the connector.

  2. CONNECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE


    1. A01H013

      Attach the 2 clips.

    2. Install the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL LH

    Torque:
    140 N*m  { 1428 kgf*cm, 103 ft.*lbf }

  4. CHECK VEHICLE HEIGHT

    Note

    If the height control sensor link is removed, check the vehicle height.


    1. Change the height control switch from the "NORMAL" position to the "HEIGHT HIGH" position and back to the "NORMAL" position again.

    2. Measure the vehicle height Click here.

  5. ADJUST VEHICLE HEIGHT

    Note

    If the height control sensor has been replaced, be sure to adjust the vehicle height.
