BATTERY BLOWER REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE HV BATTERY


    1. Remove the HV battery from the vehicle Click here.

  2. REMOVE NO. 6 HYBRID VEHICLE BATTERY SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY

    CAUTION:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.


    1. Remove the 3 nuts, 3 bolts and No. 6 hybrid vehicle battery shield sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE BATTERY COOLING BLOWER ASSEMBLY (for Upper Side)

    CAUTION:

    Be sure to wear insulating gloves.


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the nut, 2 bolts and battery cooling blower assembly (for upper side).

  4. REMOVE NO. 4 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT

    CAUTION:

    Be sure to wear insulating gloves.


    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 4 hybrid battery intake duct from the battery cooling blower assembly (for upper side).

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY

    CAUTION:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.


    1. Remove the 2 nuts and No. 1 hybrid battery shield sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE NO. 4 HYBRID VEHICLE BATTERY CARRIER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY

    CAUTION:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.


    1. Install the No. 4 hybrid vehicle battery carrier bracket sub-assembly with the 4 nuts and 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

    2. Install the No. 1 hybrid battery packing as shown in the illustration.

  7. REMOVE BATTERY COOLING BLOWER ASSEMBLY (for Lower Side)

    CAUTION:

    Be sure to wear insulating gloves.


    1. Detach the clamp and disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the nut and 2 bolts.

    3. Detach the 2 claws and remove the battery cooling blower assembly (for lower side).
