P0AC0-123 When the battery current sensor is abnormal (1 trip detection/2 trip detection)
  • HV battery junction block assembly (battery current sensor)

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTCS (DTC P0AFC-123 OR P0A95-123 IS OUTPUT)


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.

    4. Check if DTCs are output.

      Result
      Result Proceed to
      P0AFC-123 or P0A95-123 is not output. A
      P0AFC-123 or P0A95-123 is output. B

  2. REPLACE HV BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

    NEXT
  3. CLEAR DTC (HV)


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.

    4. Clear the DTCs and freeze frame data.

    5. Perform a road test to charge and discharge the HV battery.

      Tech Tips

      Two trip detection logic is used. After the first road test, turn the power switch off and perform a road test again.

  4. RECONFIRM DTC OUTPUT (HV)


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.

    4. Check if DTCs are output.

      Result

      P0AC0-123 is not output again. A
      P0AC0-123 is output again. B
