DESCRIPTION
In some cases, such as a malfunction or when a self protective function has been engaged, the air conditioning system may be unable to cool the HV battery. If this happens, the cooling capacity of the HV battery will be reduced, and battery life may be reduced. Due to this consideration, the hybrid vehicle control ECU receives "Air Conditioner Information 1 and 2" from the A/C amplifier via CAN communication in order to monitor A/C system operation. If an abnormal condition occurs, the hybrid vehicle control ECU will set a DTC.
The A/C amplifier sends air conditioning system information to the hybrid vehicle control ECU via CAN communication.
The air conditioning system condition can be checked using "Air Conditioner Information 1 and 2" in the data list.
If a DTC is cleared, it takes time before the DTC can be set again because detection of P3085-189 and/or P3085-190 requires a long time.
| DTC No. | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |
|---|---|---|
| P3085-189 | Abnormal condition continues after checking the air conditioning system condition using air conditioning system information 1. | Air conditioning system |
| P3085-190 | Abnormal condition continues after checking the air conditioning system condition using air conditioning system information 2. | Air conditioning system |
