DESCRIPTION

This DTC indicates that the hybrid vehicle control ECU monitors the +B power source voltage to detect an instantaneous interruption.

  1. Click here

    CHECK BATTERY TERMINAL (CONTACT PROBLEM)


    1. Check the connection of the auxiliary battery terminal.

      OK
      The terminal is connected securely and there is no contact problem.

  2. Click here

    CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR)


    1. A01GW3PE01

      Check the connections of the hybrid vehicle control ECU connectors.

      OK
      The connectors are connected securely and there are no contact problems.

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - ST CUT/IGCT2 RELAY)


    1. Turn the power switch off.

    2. Remove the ST CUT/IGCT2 relays from the engine room No. 2 relay block.

      Disconnect connector A78 from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      A78-2 (+B2) - Engine room No. 2 relay block ST CUT/IGCT2 relay terminal 3 Power switch off Below 1 Ω
      A78-1 (+B1) - Engine room No. 2 relay block ST CUT/IGCT2 relay terminal 3 Power switch off Below 1 Ω

    CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS


    1. Check for intermittent problems (Click here).


      1. Check the connection and terminal contact pressure of connectors and wire harnesses between the hybrid vehicle control ECU and the engine room No. 2 relay block.

      2. When the power switch is on (READY), jiggle the connectors and wire harnesses between the hybrid vehicle control ECU and the engine room No. 2 relay block.
