DESCRIPTION
Power switch condition (power source mode) or system malfunctions can be checked by observing the status of the power switch indicator light.

INSPECT POWER SWITCH
Disconnect the L36 power switch connector.
Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the power switch, and check the illumination condition of the power switch indicator light.
Note
If the positive (+) lead and the negative (-) lead are incorrectly connected, the power switch indicator light will not illuminate.
If the voltage is too low, the indicator light will not illuminate.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - POWER SWITCH, BODY GROUND)
Disconnect the L13 main body ECU connector.
Disconnect the L36 power switch connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
