DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when a malfunction occurs in the IG1D output circuit, which is between the D-IG1-1 relay actuation circuit inside the main body ECU and the D-IG1-1 relay.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (IG1 RELAY MONITOR (OUTSIDE))


    1. Use the Data List to check if the D-IG1-1 relay is functioning properly.

      ON: Power switch ON (IG)

      When the power switch is turned ON (IG), ON is displayed on the tester.

  2. CHECK POWER SWITCH (SWITCH CONDITION)


    1. Ensure the key is inside the cabin.

    2. With the brake pedal released, check that the power source mode changes as shown below each time the power switch is pushed.

      OK
      OFF → ON (ACC) → ON (IG) → OFF

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - BATTERY, BODY GROUND)

    1. Disconnect the L13, DF and DA main body ECU connectors.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage

      DF-1 - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

      L13-3 (IG1D) - DA-32 Always Below 1 Ω
