BATTERY INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL BATTERY CARRIER


    1. A01GYUD

      Install the battery carrier with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL AUXILIARY BATTERY


    1. A01H19Q

      Install the auxiliary battery.

    2. Install the No. 2 battery hold down clamp with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

    3. Install the battery clamp with the nut.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

    4. Connect the thermistor sensor connector.

    5. Connect the battery room ventilation hose.

    6. Connect the cable to the auxiliary battery positive (+) terminal.

      Torque:
      5.6 N*m  { 57 kgf*cm, 50 in.*lbf }

    7. Connect the cable to the auxiliary battery negative (-) terminal.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 47 in.*lbf }

      Note

      When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

      Attach the battery service hole cover LH with the clip and fastening tape.

  4. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire)

      Attach the 2 clips to install the deck trim side board LH.

  5. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Spare Tire)

  6. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Spare Tire)
