POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM Only Rear Door LH LOCK / UNLOCK Functions do not Operate

DESCRIPTION

The rear door ECU LH receives lock/unlock switch signals and activates the door lock motor according to these signals.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (REAR DOOR LOCK LH)


    1. Select the Active Test, use the intelligent tester to generate a control command, and then check the door lock motor function.

      Rear Left Door (Rear door ECU LH)

  2. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (DOOR LOCK POSITION SWITCH)


    1. Use the Data List to check if the door lock position switch is functioning properly.

  3. CHECK REAR DOOR ECU LH (OPERATION)


    1. Replace the rear door ECU LH with a normally functioning one Click here.

    2. Check that all doors can be locked and unlocked by using the master switch.

  4. INSPECT FUSE (D RR DOOR or P RR DOOR)


    1. Remove the D RR DOOR*1 or P RR DOOR*2 fuse from the main body ECU.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance

    1. Disconnect the O14 ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
