HEADLIGHT CLEANER ACTUATOR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL WASHER BRACKET

    Tech Tips


    • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

    • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


    1. except Sport Package:

      Note

      Clean the bracket installation area on the bumper using non-residue solvent and apply primer.

      Tech Tips

      When installing the moulding, heat the front bumper cover and bracket using a heat light.

      Standard
      Front Bumper Cover 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
      Headlight Cleaner Bracket 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

      Note

      Do not heat the front bumper cover and headlight cleaner bracket excessively.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the front bumper cover and washer bracket.

      2. A01GZMI

        Remove the peeling paper from a new washer bracket and install the bracket to the front bumper.

    2. for Sport Package:

      Note

      Clean the bracket installation area on the bumper using non-residue solvent and apply primer.

      Tech Tips

      When installing the moulding, heat the front bumper cover and bracket using a heat light.

      Front Bumper Cover 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
      Headlight Cleaner Bracket 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

      Note

      Do not heat the front bumper cover and headlight cleaner bracket excessively.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the front bumper cover and washer bracket.

        Remove the peeling paper from a new washer bracket and install the bracket to the front bumper.

  2. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01GWCK

      Install the spring nut to the headlight actuator subassembly LH.

    2. A01GW7I

      Attach the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly LH with the screw.

  3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. A01GWCK

      Install the spring nut to the headlight actuator subassembly RH.

    2. A01GXMF

      Attach the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly LH with the screw.

  4. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE


    1. except Sport Package:


      1. Attach the 9 clamps to install the hose to the front bumper cover.

      2. Connect the headlight cleaner hose to the headlight washer actuator sub-assemblies.

    2. for Sport Package:


      1. Attach the 9 clamps to install the hose to the front bumper cover.

      2. Connect the headlight cleaner hose to the headlight washer actuator sub-assemblies.

  5. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE COVER


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the headlight cleaner washer nozzle cover.

  6. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE COVER

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
