HAZARD WARNING SWITCH INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Click here.


  1. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET


    1. Install the No. 2 radio bracket with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      2.4 N*m  { 24 kgf*cm, 21 in.*lbf }
  2. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET


    1. Install the No. 1 radio bracket with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      2.4 N*m  { 24 kgf*cm, 21 in.*lbf }
  3. INSTALL MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the connectors.

    2. Attach the 6 clips to install the multi-media module receiver assembly (hazard warning switch).

    3. Install the 2 bolts.

  4. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 5 guides and 4 clips to install the lower No. 1 instrument panel finish panel.

  5. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL


    1. Attach the 5 guides and 4 clips to install the lower No. 2 instrument panel finish panel.

  6. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the 6 clips to install the upper console panel sub-assembly.

    2. Connect the connector.

  7. INSTALL UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Connect each connector and attach each wire harness clamp.

    2. Attach the 6 clips to install the upper rear console panel sub-assembly.

    3. Install the 2 screws.

  8. INSTALL NO. 3 BOX PANEL


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the No. 3 box panel.

  9. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL


    1. Attach the 5 clips to install the upper instrument cluster finish panel.

  10. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Twist the shift lever knob sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to install it.

  11. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH
