First perform the communication function inspections in HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING to confirm that there are no CAN communication malfunctions before troubleshooting this symptom.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTC Click here.

    2. Check for DTC Click here.

      OK
      DTC B2414 output does not occur.

    NG

    REPLACE STEERING ANGLE SENSOR Click here

    OK

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK Click here

  2. REPLACE STEERING ANGLE SENSOR


    1. Temporarily replace the steering angle sensor with a new or normally functioning one Click here.

    2. Recheck for DTC Click here.

      OK
      DTC B2414 output does not reoccur.
