DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are output when the AFS ECU detected errors in its own communications with the headlight (headlight swivel motor).

  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTC Click here.

    2. Check for DTC Click here.

      OK
      DTC B2410 or B2411 output does not occur

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AFS ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) Click here

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK Click here

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AFS ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

    1. Disconnect the A37 AFS ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      A37-14 (IGS) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      A37-15 (IG) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A37-22 (E1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AFS ECU - HEADLIGHT)

    1. Disconnect the A37 AFS ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the B1*1 or B11*2 headlight connector.


      • *1: for LH

      • *2: for RH

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      A37-29 (SML) - B1-23 (SML) Always Below 1 Ω

      A37-1 (SMBL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      A37-29 (SML) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      13 (LHB1) - 1 Always Below 1 Ω
      23 (SML) - 2 Always Below 1 Ω
      22 (LH E) - 3 Always Below 1 Ω

      23 (SMR) - 2 Always Below 1 Ω
      22 (RH E) - 3 Always Below 1 Ω

    REPLACE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY Click here

  5. CHECK HEADLIGHT SWIVEL MOTOR


    1. Temporarily replace the headlight swivel motor with a new or normally functioning one Click here.

    2. Check for DTC Click here.

      DTC B2410 or B2411 output does not occur
