DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU receives vehicle stability signals from the yaw rate sensor and sends the signals to the driving support ECU. If the skid control ECU detects that the yaw rate sensor is malfunctioning, the skid control ECU sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU and the driving support ECU stores DTC C1A46.

C1A46 While the vehicle speed is 48 km/h (30 mph) or more with the lane-keeping assist main switch on, a yaw rate sensor malfunction signal sent from the skid control ECU to the driving support ECU is detected for 1 second.

      Electrically controlled brake system DTCs are not output.

    GO TO ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM Click here

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

      Tech Tips

      If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.


      1. Drive the vehicle at a 50 km/h (31 mph) or more, and operate lane-keeping assist system.

    2. Check for DTCs Click here.
