PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)


    1. Disconnect the L194 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the L195 telematics transceiver connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L194-7 (VOR+) - L195-3 (VOT+) Always Below 1 Ω
      L194-6 (VOR-) - L195-5 (VOT-) Always Below 1 Ω
      L194-7 (VOR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L194-6 (VOR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  2. Click here

    INSPECT TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER


    1. Remove the telematics transceiver with the connectors still connected.

    2. A01H19SE54

      Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L195-3 (VOT+) - Body ground Receiving a call while using the operator service A waveform synchronized with the received voice is output.
      L195-5 (VOT-) - Body ground Receiving a call while using the operator service A waveform synchronized with the received voice is output.
