HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY (for LED Headlight) DISASSEMBLY

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB


    1. A01DPNK

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. A01DOYG

      Turn the No. 2 headlight bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow to remove it.

      Note

      Do not touch the glass part of the bulb.

  2. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB


    1. A01DN1N

      Turn the front turn signal light bulb socket with the front turn signal light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow to disconnect them as a unit.

    2. A01DM6D

      Remove the front turn signal light bulb from the front turn signal light bulb socket.

  3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01DPMV

      Turn the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH in the direction indicated by the arrow to disconnect it.

    2. A01DQSJ

      Disconnect the connector and remove the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH.

  4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT SOCKET COVER


    1. A01DQOJ

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the headlight socket cover.

  5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT GASKET


    1. A01DUQO

      Remove the headlight gasket from the headlight socket cover.

  6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR LH


    1. A01DNMM

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the claw and rotate the headlight leveling motor LH in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      For the headlight leveling motor RH, rotate it in the opposite direction of the arrow shown in the illustration before pulling it out.

    3. Hold the LED unit in place by hand, and then pull out the end of the headlight leveling motor LH to disconnect it from the LED unit and remove the headlight leveling motor LH.

  7. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR BASE PACKING


    1. A01DS4H

      Remove the headlight leveling motor base packing from the headlight unit LH.

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER BAR REINFORCEMENT LH


    1. A01DTO5

      Remove the 2 screws and front bumper bar reinforcement LH.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER BAR REINFORCEMENT LH


    1. A01DMB3

      Remove the 2 screws and front bumper bar reinforcement LH.
