WINDOW DEFOGGER SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the G25 amplifier connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      G25-21 (B) - G25-14 (GND) V - W-B Battery power source Always 11 to 14 V
      G25-1 (IG+) - G25-14 (GND) L - W-B Ignition power supply Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      G25-1 (IG+) - G25-14 (GND) L - W-B Ignition power supply Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      G25-14 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      • If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the G25 air conditioning amplifier connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      G25-38 (RDFG) - G25-14 (GND) P - W-B Rear defogger signal Ignition switch ON, rear window defogger switch off 11 to 14 V

      • If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the air conditioning amplifier.

  2. CHECK INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the G23 air conditioning control connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      G23-1 (+B) - G23-4 (GND) L - W-B Battery power source Always 11 to 14 V
