ROOF HEADLINING (for 3 Door) DISASSEMBLY

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOF SILENCER PAD

    1. w/o Sliding Roof:


      1. Remove the 3 No. 1 roof silencer pads.

    2. A01DOFL

      w/ Sliding Roof:


      1. Remove the No. 1 roof silencer pad.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)

    1. Remove the No. 2 roof silencer pad.

  3. REMOVE NO. 4 ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)

    1. Remove the No. 4 roof silencer pad.

  4. REMOVE VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

    *1 Claw A

    *3 Bulb Holder

    1. Detach the 2 claws labeled A and separate the bulb holder from the vanity light as shown in the illustration.

    2. Detach the claw labeled B and remove the vanity light.

  5. REMOVE VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOF WIRE


    1. Turn the visor connectors approximately 90° clockwise and remove them from the roof headlining.

    2. Detach each clamp and remove the No. 1 roof wire.

    3. Remove any butyl tape remaining on the roof headlining.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. w/o Sliding Roof:

      1. Detach the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly from the clamp and the notch on the rear of the roof headlining assembly.

      2. for Diversity:

        Detach the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly from the 6 clamps and the 2 notches on the rear of the roof headlining assembly.

      3. for Diversity, w/ Digital Audio Broadcasting:

        Detach the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly from the 7 clamps and the 2 notches on the rear of the roof headlining assembly.

      4. Remove the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly from the roof headlining assembly.

      5. Remove the double-sided tape from the roof headlining assembly.

    2. w/ Sliding Roof:

      1. Detach the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly from the 4 clamps and the notch on the rear of the roof headlining assembly.

      2. for Diversity:

        Detach the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly from the 9 clamps and the 2 notches on the rear of the roof headlining assembly.

      3. for Diversity, w/ Digital Audio Broadcasting:

        Detach the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly from the 10 clamps and the 2 notches on the rear of the roof headlining assembly.

      4. Remove the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly from the roof headlining assembly.

      5. Remove the double-sided tape from the roof headlining assembly.
