REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat Type LH Side) DISASSEMBLY

Note


  • Under either of the following conditions, perform initialization (initial position memorization) of the fold seat control ECU Click here.


    • The fold seat control ECU is replaced with a new one.

    • Initialization (initial position reset) of the fold seat control ECU is performed.


  • Under any of the following conditions, perform initialization (initial position reset and initial position memorization) of the fold seat control ECU Click here.


    • The fold seat control ECU is exchanged with one from another vehicle.

    • The seatback frame and seat leg are inspected.

    • The seat is disassembled and the positions of the seatback and seat cushion change with respect to one another.

    • The seatback frame or seat leg is replaced.

    • The cable is disconnected from the battery while the seatback or seat cushion is operating.

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE CAP

      Remove the 2 caps.

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOWER HINGE COVER LH


    1. A01DRPY

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the 3 claws and remove the cover.

  3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOWER HINGE COVER RH

  4. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Using a T45 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the bolt and inner belt assembly.

  5. REMOVE FOLD SEAT CONTROL ECU

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and ECU.

  6. REMOVE REAR SEAT NO. 1 CUSHION MOULDING

      Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and 4 guides and remove the moulding.

  7. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Remove the 2 clips and open the under part of the seat cushion cover.

      Using a screwdriver, release the lock lever as shown in the illustration.

      Retract the seat cushion frame.

    4. Using a T40 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 4 "TORX" bolts and seat cushion frame.

      Cut off the 2 cable ties and detach the 3 clamps.

    2. Twist the cable end in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the cable.

      Cut off the 2 cable ties and detach the 3 clamps.

    2. Twist the 2 cable ends in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the cable.

      Using a T45 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 4 "TORX" bolts and frame.

  38. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT WIRE LH

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the wire harness clamps and remove the seat wire.

  39. REMOVE NO. 3 SEAT LEG ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01DQRH

      Remove the 4 clips and seat cushion under carpet LH from the No. 3 seat leg.

  40. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT LEG ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

      Remove the 4 clips and seat cushion under carpet RH from the No. 2 seat leg.
