  1. DISPOSE OF REAR SEAT STAY SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Hold the seat stay in a vise so that it is horizontal with the piston-rod pulled out.

    2. A01DS4PE01

      Wear safety glasses. Gradually cut at a point between A and B shown in the illustration using a metal saw to release the gas.

      Note

      Although the gas inside the seat stay is colorless, odorless and harmless, there is a possibility that metal debris could scatter. Therefore, cover the part with a piece of cloth or other material.
