CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

Tip:

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

  1. Click here

    INSTALL CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)


    1. Check that the ignition switch is off.

    2. Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal.

      CAUTION:

      Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    3. Install the curtain shield airbag with the 17 new bolts.

      9.8 N*m 100 kgf*cm 87 in.*lbf
      Note:

      Do not twist the curtain shield airbag when installing it.

    4. Connect the connector.

      Note:

      When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

  2. Click here

    INSTALL CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)


    1. Install the curtain shield airbag with the 13 new bolts.

      9.8 N*m 100 kgf*cm 87 in.*lbf
      Note:

      Do not twist the curtain shield airbag when installing it.

    2. Connect the connector.

      Note:

      When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

  3. Click here

    INSTALL CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH (for 3 Door)


    1. Install the curtain shield airbag with the 11 new bolts.

      9.8 N*m 100 kgf*cm 87 in.*lbf
      Note:

      Do not twist the curtain shield airbag when installing it.

    2. A01DNTU

      Connect the connector.

      Note:

      When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

  4. Click here

    INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SIDE RAIL SPACER LH (for 3 Door)


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the rear side rail spacer.

    2. Install the clip.

  5. Click here

    INSTALL NO. 1 AIR DUCT REAR SIDE (w/ Rear Cooler)


    1. Install the duct with the 4 clips.

  6. Click here

    INSTALL NO. 2 AIR DUCT REAR SIDE (w/ Rear Cooler)


    1. Install the duct with the 2 clips and attach the clamp.

  7. Click here

    INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY


    1. for 5 Door:


      1. Install the roof headlining (Click here).

    2. for 3 Door:


      1. Install the roof headlining (Click here).
