Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat frame and adjuster may injure your hands.
If the side airbag was deployed, replace the front seat side airbag assembly, separate type front seatback spring assembly, separate type front seatback cover and separate type front seatback pad with the necessary parts in accordance with the extent of the collision damage.

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
Note
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work. Click here

REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER TRACK BRACKET COVER RH (for Walk in Seat Type)
Operate the seat track adjusting handle to move the seat to the rearmost position.
Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.
REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER TRACK BRACKET COVER RH (for Walk in Seat Type)
Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws.
Move the cover in the direction of the arrow to detach the guide and remove the cover.
REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH (for Walk in Seat Type)
Operate the seat track adjusting handle to move the seat to the foremost position.
Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws.
Move the cover in the direction of the arrow to detach the 2 guides and remove the cover.
REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER RH (for Walk in Seat Type)
Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws.
Move the cover in the direction of the arrow to detach the 2 guides and remove the cover.

DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
for Manual Seat, Power Seat:
Remove the rubber band from the seat cushion spring.

Detach the claw and disconnect the airbag connector.
Detach the 3 airbag wire harness clamps.
Detach the fastening tape and open the cover.
Disconnect the airbag wire harness.
for Walk in Seat Type:
Remove the rubber band from the seat cushion spring.

Detach the claw and disconnect the airbag connector.
Detach the 4 airbag wire harness clamps.
Detach the fastening tape and open the cover.
Disconnect the airbag wire harness.
REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD
Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
w/ Seat Heater System:
Disconnect the seat heater connector and detach the wire harness clamp.
Remove the 3 hog rings.
Open the 2 fasteners, and then open the front seatback cover.

Remove the nut and front seatback cover bracket.
Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws to remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.
Remove the separate type seatback cover with pad.
REMOVE FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
CAUTION:
When storing the front seat side airbag assembly, keep the airbag deployment side facing upward.
Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
Detach the 2 clamps.
Remove the 2 nuts and front seat side airbag assembly.
CAUTION:
The nuts must not be reused.
Make sure that the separate type front seatback spring assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
