SECURITY HORN ASSEMBLY (w/ Built-in Battery type) REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR FLOOR STEP COVER (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)

    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the rear No. 1 floor step cover.

  6. REMOVE QUARTER SCUFF PLATE INNER RH

  7. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

  8. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

  9. REMOVE OUTER LAP BELT ANCHOR COVER

    1. Detach the 3 claws and remove the outer lap belt anchor cover.

  10. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover)


    1. Remove the tonneau cover.

  11. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)

    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the cap.

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)

  13. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)

    1. Detach the 5 clips and 4 claws and remove the rear floor mat rear support plate.

  14. REMOVE FLOOR SIDE RAIL RH (w/ Deck Rail)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE FLOOR SIDE RAIL LH (w/ Deck Rail)

  16. REMOVE REAR FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY


    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the rear floor carpet.

  18. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK

    1. Remove the luggage compartment trim hook by turning it clockwise.

  19. REMOVE NO. 1 TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP (w/o Tonneau Cover)

  22. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and assist grip.

  23. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH

        Remove the bolt and disconnect the rear No. 1 seat outer belt floor anchor.

      2. A01DPCT

        Detach the 6 claws and 2 guides and disconnect the rear seatback lock control lever base.

      3. Remove the 4 bolts and screws.

      4. Detach the 5 clips and 8 claws.

      5. Disconnect each connector.

      6. Pass the rear seatback lock control lever base through the deck trim side panel and remove the deck trim side panel.

        Remove the bolt and disconnect the rear No. 1 seat outer belt floor anchor.

      2. A01DTTR

        Remove the bolt and disconnect the rear No. 2 seat outer belt floor anchor.

      3. Remove the 2 bolts and screw.

      4. Detach the 4 clips and 8 claws.

      5. Disconnect each connector and remove the deck trim side panel.

  24. REMOVE REAR SIDE NO. 2 AIR DUCT

      Detach the 2 clips.

    2. Detach the clamp and remove the duct.

  25. REMOVE THEFT WARNING SIREN ASSEMBLY (for 5 Door)

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the guide.

    3. Disconnect the connector and remove the theft warning siren assembly.

    2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 6 claws and 2 guides, and remove the quarter trim pocket tray.

  39. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH (for 3 Door)

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the rear No. 1 seat outer belt floor anchor.

    3. Remove the 3 bolts and 2 screws.

    4. Detach the 9 claws and 12 clips.

    5. Disconnect the connector and remove the deck trim side panel.

  40. REMOVE THEFT WARNING SIREN ASSEMBLY (for 3 Door)

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the guide.

    3. Disconnect the connector and remove the theft warning siren assembly.
